Welcome to Fall in Sun Valley, Idaho

Fall Leaves on bike path bridge south of Sun Valley and Ketchum IdahoWhat a Summer! After a rainy start in June we flew headlong into a great season filled with family activities and fun. The Fourth of July at the Hailey rodeo and parade, hiking the trails, fishing the Big Wood and Silver Creek, mountain biking the hills, golfing the valley courses, running the rivers and playing in the lake at Redfish, wonderful Sun Valley Summer Symphony, art gallery walks and the grand finale of Wagon Days with many more great times with friends and family mixed in between. Who could ask for more!

As we run headlong into October and bid farewell to Summer, the first few yellow aspen leaves have begun to dot the valley floor as we prepare for Fall. The valley is a little quieter, the fish a little more eager to take a fly and its easier to find a parking place in front of Atkinsons in Ketchum.

The next few months are known as “slack.” This brief period between Summer and Winter gives us all a little well deserved time to relax, regroup, collect our thoughts and get prepared for our next favorite season. Winter!!

We look forward to chatting with you in the months to come. Don’t be a stranger!
