Real Estate Open Houses in Sun Valley, Idaho

Real estate open houses around Sun Valley are a little different that a lot of other places around the country.  In most towns, the open houses are on the week ends.  Typically on Saturday morning or Sunday afternoons.  Around here, our normal open house times are on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the middle of the day.  That’s just the way its been here for a long time.

Consequently, the open houses are geared toward other real estate agents who are cruising around to preview the new listings.  Very few actual buyers attend our open houses.  Buyers are more than welcome to attend but it’s not usually the best timing for most people due to work schedules.

It’s not that we don’t have week end open houses or the general public to attend our open houses, we do, it’s just that they are less common.  For instance many agents with listings in the north valley hold week end open houses.  It makes sense in Sun Valley and Ketchum because there are more interested people around on a regular basis, especially week ends.  Hailey, mid valley and Bellevue are not very active on the week ends.

Here is the schedule we have established for local open houses.  Be sure to drop by and check one out.

North Ketchum, Ketchum and Warm Springs: Wednesdays 11am-1pm

Sun Valley, Elkhorn and Mid Valley (North of Greenhorn Gulch Bridge): Wednesday 1-3pm

Mid Valley (South of Greenhorn Gulch Bridge) and Hailey: Thursday 11am-1pm

Bellevue and South of Bellevue: Thursday 1-3pm
