JOANNE ZWINGENBERG

A woman of many talents!

Growing up in Edmonds Washington, started competing in Figure Skating for Seattle Skating Club. Moved to Sun Valley the summer of 1980 performing in the Sun Valley Ice Shows as a professional figure skater and achieving double gold medals with USFSA.

Became a Sun Valley Snowsports Instructor in 1981- Present. Fully Certified with PSIA in 1983. Blessed to have taught successful Athletes, Actors, Politicians, Doctors, Lawyers, Bankers, Investors, etc, and kids screaming this is the best day of skiing ever!

Needing clients to teach skating led me to live in Portland Oregon in 1985, becoming the Skating School Director for Ice Capades at a rink later made infamous!

Discovering “The Gorge” the summer of 85’ Windsurfing changed my direction. The wind blew me over to live on the island of Maui, the Mecca of Windsurfing riding waves tall as two story buildings. From 1986-1995 living part year on Maui and part year in Sun Valley. DaKine times.

Settling down in 1996 purchasing my first home in Ketchum. Looking for a new challenge became a Realtor in 2002. Since there have been highs and lows in the market. From a sellers market to a buyers market, to the crazy times during and after Covid. Escalation Clauses to Love Letters, every deal creates new learning opportunities in this ever changing business. Joanne never gives up and follows thru, is hardworking, professional and honest.
