I can’t believe Fall is already here. We just had our first storm of the year this past week end which produced a lot of rain and laid down the first blanket of snow on the upper elevations of Baldy and the local area peaks.
This Friday, October 29, is the Hailey Halloween Hoopla from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m in downtown Hailey. This annual event is a really fun kick start into the season. All the kids sport their costumes and hit the streets of Hailey for a little Halloween fun and trick or treating with all thier friends and the downtown merchants.
All the merchants really get into the spirit and have a put on a great show with killer decorations and big time spooky fun. There is a really cool haunted kitchen in the courtyard of the Meriwether Building with food and ghooly fun for children and adults and the Wicked Spud will be hosting a costume contest, too.
Be sure to check out the Hoopla this year. The Hailey Chamber of Commerce and the South Valley Merchants Alliance put this event on every year and they always do a great job. It’s a guaranteed good time for all and is always a fun community event. See you there. Booo!
