Featured Listing…Investment Package in Fairfield, Idaho
December 10, 2010Pigs Get Fat, Hogs Get Slaughtered
December 14, 2010I hear this a lot. Typically on the last phone call before a new client comes to town to look at properties. “Oh yeah, where should I stay?”
My response is typically automatic. If they are looking for properties around Hailey, I always suggest The Americinn. Its a very nice place and just a few years old. Just on the north end of Hailey. The rooms are all that you need, comfortable and clean and the rates are affordable. Plus, they have a nice pool and a little work out room for exercise. Free internet, too.
In the morning, they have a great little continental breakfast bar with coffee, bagels, cereal, fruit and yogurt, etc. A lot of times, I’ll pick clients up there and we sometimes sit in the lobby and talk before we head out to look at property.
If my buyers are thinking Sun Valley and Ketchum, I always recommend the Best Western Kentwood Lodge. That or the Sun Valley Lodge, but somehow most people end up choosing the Kentwood Lodge. It’s a nice place, too. Located at the south entrance to Ketchum. The rooms are nice and they all have microwaves and mini refrigerators in the rooms. They also have a pool, exercise room and free internet. Prices are a little higher in Ketchum than Hailey for a room… but then so is the real estate.
There you have it. As nice as the hotels are in the valley, I don’t think you would want to stay there for an extended period of time. You should buy some real estate, instead.
Give us a call at Coulter Properties before you book your stay.
